New Year's Day!

Well, according to Jason’s doctor we cannot have a real tree inthe house anymore for Christmas. That makes me soooo sad. I grew up with a real Christmas tree and love the smell of them. If we get a tree it has to be artifical. I am sure by next Christmas I will be over the tree dilemma! Although it isn’t as exciting to run down to the basement, in the storage, and pull out our tree as it is going to the tree lot on Saturday morning when it is snowing and we are supposed to get 13″ of snow and cars are in the ditch! Now, that was exciting. We left early and got our tree, we were freezing but it was fun!

We are just hanging around the house today. We took the tree down. It is always sad to take the Christmas decorations down and the Christmas tree. I cannot believe that Christmas 2007 has come and gone already. It is 2008! I have a feeling that 2008 will be a great year for us! We love living in Saint Paul and are so blessed to have great family and friends.
Our house looks completely bare though. Jason says he likes it that way! WHAT? I don’t like clutter but I don’t like to look at our living room and see no pictures! I do need to find where I put all our pictures. I packed them up when I put the nativity set on our book case and I thought I put them in the Christmas boxes but I didn’t. I think they are in one of the guest bedrooms.

We vacuumed all the rugs and swept the hardwood floors, so every needle is picked up and hopefully that will make Jason more comfortable.
