Craig's Birthday Party!

Jason and I went to my Uncle Craig's 50th Birthday Party! Aunt Colleen surprised him by throwing a Casino Night Party. It was so much fun. We were each given $10,000 in chips and were able to play at four different tables; Blackjack, Texas Hold 'Em, and two other tables which I didn't play and can't remember what they were. I stayed at Blackjack because that is what I excel at! Jason tried his hand at Texas Hold 'Em, which he played okay at! At the end of the night, the dealers totalled our chips and we were able to win prizes. Nicole took home first place and won a new cooler. I took home third place and came away with travel mugs!! Jason came in last, just kidding, they didn't go past third place but it was all about having fun! Such good food, drinks and family. It took Jason's mind of working all weekend. I will get to that later in my RNC blog.

This is the blackjack table. I played next to Gram and would occasionally place a few extra chips on her pile. Our dealer was great. He gave us so many pointers, I was ready to run to the casino...I was feeling lucky!

There is mom in the pink, she was playing one of the games that I cannot remember what it was. She was there most of the night and I heard people say it wasn't too difficult to learn how to play.

This is the Texas Hold 'Em table. Jason is the front left. Rick is in the back with the striped shirt and Dylan is the one drinking beer. I don't know who the person in the white shirt is.

Gram and Nicole posing at the Blackjack table. Do you see all the red chips Nicole has? Those were $500 chips. The white chips were $100 and the blue chips were $2,500. I sat to the right of the dealer, see all those white chips. You cannot really see all my blue chips, I was way ahead! At the very last hand we were able to put all in, so I put about $20,000 in and lost!! Otherwise I would have beat Nicole for sure. Plus, she did cheat. She lost all her money at Texas Hold 'Em and the dealer at Blackjack was nice enough to give her a ton of red chips. It was such fun. I think Craig had a blast too!!
