Baby Shower!
My sister-in-law (I guess technically it is SIL or sil since this is the web) is pregnant and they are expecting their first baby January 30, 2008. She and my brother-in-law have been so great to us over the years, so I knew I had to throw her a baby shower, since they both deserve it! Saturday, November 3rd was the date and I was not going to let them down. Jerry & Carole and Kevin & Sarah came up to stay with us for the weekend. It was a packed house but that is the way we like it!
We had a great turn out for the baby shower. The food was excellent, okay, okay, so I made the food, but lets pretend I did not make or host the baby shower and was just a guest, I would say the baby shower was a great hit, the food was wonderful and Sarah loaded up on good things for the baby. The Reid’s sure know how to spoil the soon-to-be mothers and baby’s! It was great to see everyone again, even though most of the Reid’s live close together, we don’t seem to get together too often.
Kevin & Sarah do not know what the sex of the baby is, but I already know! I think I am psychic, okay maybe a little psycho sometimes (I think Jason would agree here), but nonetheless, Jason and I both think it will be a little Kevin Junior! Whenever I refer to the baby I always refer to him as a him….see I even did it there. Maybe there is some scientific proof that humans say him or he over she or her but until I see that proof I will just say I have a “sense” that it is going to be a boy. I knew that Jason’s cousin Mollie was having a boy, again I had a “sense” and sure enough it was a boy. I had a feeling that my cousin Jennifer would have a boy and girl twins, right again!
I hope I am on a winning streak. I also want to psychically name the baby if it will be a boy. The name I see in the future is Carl Kevin Corizzo. Okay, maybe not Carl, maybe Mario Kevin Corizzo, no I don’t feel that one either. Maybe Kevin Corizzo II….hmmm I do think that it will be an Italian name, but I know that it will be a great name. I can’t wait for him or her to arrive. I will finally be Auntie Lindsay! I can finally spoil him or her. I figure my only real job as an Aunt and Jason’s only real job as an Uncle is spoiling our niece or nephew, and we will make sure we do a very good job!!
