Gobble Gobble!
Wow, Thanksgiving came and went fast this year. We were so busy in November and December is looking to be no different.
Jason and I went down to Mom and Dad's for Thanksgiving. Mom was being her typical self. Can you believe that she actually had the audacity to call me two days before Thanksgiving and tell me that she bought cranberry sauce?!? She BOUGHT cranberry sauce. This wouldn't be a huge deal except the fact that I have been making cranberry sauce and bringing it down for the last 6 years! She goes a little mental and I fear that in a few years I will be the same way. I don't mean this in a bad way at all. You just have to know my Mom to know what her 'typical self' is during the holidays! We wouldn't love her any other way.
We made the green beans and cranberry sauce (yes, I still brought my darn cranberry sauce). We had way too much food but it was so darn good. It was technically Baby Reid's first Thanksgiving since he did get a taste of turkey, mashed potatoes, corn, green beans and stuffing this year.
The new Norstad thing must be mustache's. Matthew was sporting such a cute handle bar mustache and even Dad had a mustache. I guess they didn't get the memo to Jason!
After eating twice (yes, we actually made ourselves eat twice) we looked through Thanksgiving ads for the big Black Friday shopping day and played lots of board games. The day always flies by and before you know it we were on our way home. Luckily the weather was very nice, we actually set a record for warm temperature on Thanksgiving!
What?!? You're looking for the pictures? Oh, let me go ahead and throw down another one of those "I'm pregnant" cards. That is two cards down and 50 to go, being that I think there are 52 cards in a deck. Give me a little slack, I'm a 'new' blogger. I promise to get better with taking pictures :)
There was so much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. We are most thankful for our family. They have always been there for us through everything.
