Clara Brown!

This weekend Jason's dad and step-mom are staying with us and since we will be home all weekend (besides Mother's Day) I think I will be able to update the blog with pictures of Connor, my birthday and the Heart Walk with my sister and mother!

Until then, my cousin, Tara sent me a few pictures of her daughter, Clara, and she sure is a cutie! She is almost 6 months old and looks like a lot of fun. The last time I held her was at her baby shower in January and she was such a little baby, with a thick head of black hair!

In the first picture, Clara looks just like her Grandpa Rodney! I hate to say it but that is the first thought that came into my head. It looks like she is really enjoying her baby food. At the baby shower we sampled baby food and lets just say none of us had a smile on our face afterwards (besides Helen, but I am not going there)!

This second picture, she looks just like Tara! Tara usually doesn't have that look on her face but she definitely has Tara's nose and her big brown eyes. I love the chunky cheeks! Clara sure does seem like a very happy baby.

Speaking of eye color, did you know that having blue eyes is a mutation? I read that in an article a few months ago. I will try and link the article. I think those of us with blue eyes must be special :)
