New Year's Eve!

Well, we had plans for New Year’s Eve but since Jason has sinusitus and feels really bad, we are just going to stay home :( I think this is the first New Years Eve that we didn’t do something. We are just going to stay home and I have some champagne. Hopefully we can stay up until midnight, but now that I am old (25) I don’t think that is possible. It is so hard to get up early in the morning and stay up late.

I did not work today but I did drive Jason to work and I had to clean the house and run some errands. I picked Jason up at noon since he wasn’t feeling so well. At least we get to have tomorrow off too. Another day to relax, put away the Christmas decorations and take the tree out of the house.

Jason had to buy a vaporizer for his sinusitus and it could take 8 weeks for him to feel normal. No sudafed for him because it dries his sinuses out and he needs to keep them moist. If you have not heard of the Neti pot you should buy one, Walgreen’s sells them. Every doctor recommends them to clean out your sinuses!

Oh, I have a fun story about Sudafed (this was before his doctor told him to stop taking it). I went to Walgreen’s because Jason was sick and so I said I would run to Walgreen’s and pick up some more Sudafed for him since he was out. He has not bee sleeping very well because the Sudafed keeps him up. I drove over to Walgreen’s at around 10:00pm the other night. I went to the pharmacy because you can only buy it behind the counter and you need your I.D. etc. I ask the pharmacist for some Sudafed but also what I could gift Jason to help him sleep, to offset the Sudafed. She recommended this other brand behind the counter to help him sleep. I said okay, I will take the 24 pack of Sudafed and the 24 pack of the other stuff. The lady rang me up and said “I’m sorry we can only see you one of the packs, because of the law you cannot buy two” I was stunned. I can buy a 48 pack of Sudafed but I cannot buy two 24 packs? Why do I feel like a criminal? I have done nothing wrong, I am, by no means, a meth dealer or druggie. Heck, the last time I bought Sudafed was two years ago! I was so mad at the legislatures that signed that ridiculous bill into law! So, I bought the Sudafed and bought Benadryl, and he seems to sleep better….
