Shopping Deals!
I was determined to get up this morning early! I told Jason to get me up, he is my alarm clock btw, at around 5:00am, which he did, and then I told him to get me up at 7:00am!! That is how it works at my house! I was up at 7:00am though and we headed to the mall where it wasn’t that packed, actually. We both saved about $200 each on clothes, my receipt said $148.36 saved and I spent $114 and Jason spent $107, so we did really good. I have a new pair of pants, four sweaters, a button down striped shirt and a jean jacket…good deals.
I usually go to Target but I passed on it. I always try and get the wrapping paper for next years Christmas at 75% off but this year I have extra so I figure I will just use that up. I didn’t even use the 10 bags that I bought last year that matched my wrapping paper! I might be doing a lot of bags next year. My thing is always getting coordinating wrapping paper and ribbon and making them look beautiful. I love doing it. I love taking the time to wrap the gifts and make them look like a professional wrapped them. Okay, a professional in training! They don’t look that great!
Today we are just going to bum around the house, get our new clothes cleaned and start putting away all the presents we received over Christmas. Our tree is completely full of presents! I hope if you ventured out that you saved a ton of money, and if you didn’t you just took the time to relax after the chaotic holidays!
