First Cold!
Daniel caught his first cold. I picked him up at daycare on April 2nd and Ms Laurie told me that he didn't really want to take a nap all day. He isn't really one to take long naps, he takes more of catnaps throughout the day, but I still had this feeling that something wasn't right. By Monday night he sounded so stuffed up and that is when his 'bark' cry started. It almost sounds like a seal, my poor little boy.
I had Tuesday off from work so he stayed home with me. Jason had to take Wednesday off and I ended up taking Thursday off because daycare wouldn't take him.
Thursday is when he started to cough and by today (Monday) he is still coughing but he doesn't sound as stuffed up. We bought a Frog humidifier for his room and that seems to be helping. Plus, the nurse said to run the shower and sit in there for about 10 minutes and have him breath in the steam.
He still seems to be pretty happy even though he is sick. Luckily, he is still eating a ton and no fever. Lets just hope he gets over this soon. I think we knew that this would happen but we were secretly hoping he'd have the immune system of Superman!
