Norstad Baby Shower!
On March 17th, St. Patrick's Day (!), my Aunt's (and Daniel's Great Aunt's) Debbie, Linda, Martha, Bonnie, Kathy and Mary threw a Baby Shower for Daniel. It was held at my cousin Kelly's home in Pine Island. Thank you so much for doing this for Daniel - and us too!
St. Patrick's Day was the perfect date because Daniel happens to have a little Irish in him. So, he just had to wear his one, and only, Irish outfit. It had "Kiss Me, I'm Irish" on it, but I have a feeling that was not the only reason he received so many kisses that day!
The theme was Dr. Seuss, from the quotes on the hutch, to the cupcakes, books and even candy! I love Dr. Seuss. He just uses such bright colors and his books and imagination makes a person smile :)
The food was great! We had sandwiches (croissants, yumm!) salads, St. Patty's Day deviled eggs, fruit and cupcakes.

You can see, in the picture of me, my corsage. It is made out of bibs that are wrapped around a teether. It was so cute and very practical because we will definitely be using bibs and a teether in the near future. I cannot wait for Daniel to try his first baby food, just to see his reaction!
I kept watching Sydney and Rachel because I cannot believe, before I know it, Daniel will be sitting up on his own, playing with toys, crawling and almost walking just like those girls. I remember Stephanie pregnant with Noah and seeing Rachel at 4th of July and she was so tiny. At that same 4th of July, Kelly was pregnant with Sydney. I also remember when Kelly was pregnant with Chesney, we were on the deck at Aunt Debbies! Time sure does fly by.
There were way too many gifts! Daniel received the cutest outfits. I cannot wait to see his chubby little legs in the shorts this summer - something about baby shorts is just so darn cute! He also received blankets and a Dr. Seuss quilt, which is great because we only had one blanket for him at home and when that went in the wash he was a little sad - he is definitely a blanket boy.
Who knew that the middle of March would require us to turn the a/c on! It was such a gorgeous day outside.
Thank you for such a wonderful shower!

Cousin Stephanie and Rachel - almost 2
Stephanie feeding Rachel. We all thought she was feeding her chocolate pudding but it ended up being prunes - mmm delicious!
The ladies hanging out in the kitchen. Funny how the kitchen always tends to be the hang out spot!
