Birthday!

Jason’s birthday was on July 11th. Yes, we actually did celebrate it on the 11th of July but have only just gotten around to blogging about it. I don’t think he cares that much.

Guess what he wanted for his birthday? New shoes? No. New watch? No. Power tools? No. Snowblower? No. Another Dog? Unfortunately No. Give up? A chair. Not even a fun dining room recliner or chair with a fun pattern, an office chair. Rather a black office chair that has mesh on it. How boring can one get? I like to get fun stuff for my birthday :) He did need this ergonomical chair, I guess.

He also didn’t want to go out to eat or make a big fuss, obviously not related to me, so he decided he wanted to go see the movie "Wanted". Yes, the one with Angelina Jolie where she is have naked. Don’t worry, James McAvoy is very easy on the eyes and so we both enjoyed the movie! See, I can’t even think of anything creative write because the whole day was just so normal, nothing like I want for my birthday.

I figure since our moms went through all the pain and the suffering to give birth to us, then we should really celebrate our birthday and go all out for it. Okay, my mom didn’t really go through suffering and pain for my birth. (And don’t say "Oh, yes she did" because she didnt’). I was breech so they heavily medicated her (which I am sure is so great for the baby) and she was snoozing while I was born. She woke up and the nurse brought me into the room and then my mom and dad saw me for the first time (men weren’t allowed in the delivery room then.) You know, this story is interesting because if my mom nor my dad saw me actually being born, how are we positive that I am their daughter? I always felt as though I was switched at birth......

I even celebrate my birthday for a whole month! The month of April is my birthday so please don’t ask me to do anything. Here is how the conversation goes at our house in April:

Jason: "Lindsay, the basement floor is covered with laundry to do, do you think we could do it tonight?"

Lindsay: "Sure, go ahead. It is my birthday month." End of discussion. :)

Happy Birthday Jason!! (Pretend I wrote this July 11th)
Here is THE chair! You can pick it up at Office Depot for a measly $299 (because you can't find anything else to spend $300 on)....in case you want to get somebody something really boring for their birthday:)

This is a fun chair!!! I have never had a good office chair at home. One that is good for the back, neck and such. I love it. Very comfy:)
