Fourth of July!

We hope you and your family had a fun, fabulous and fatiguing Fourth of July! That is about the only words I know that start with "f". :)

It was so nice to have the day off. Typically Jason and I go to the Taste of Minnesota, although now that it is at Harriet Island it is definitely not a very nice place to go to. The Taste use to be at the Capital yard and the first year we walked there. It was so much cleaner and you didn’t feel dirty! Last year when we went to Harriet Island it was so crowded and everything was dirty. I had to go home and shower before bed because you just get that grossed out feeling. This year we were busy getting ready for Connor’s Baptism that we didn’t really do much. We washed the car, ran Sampson to my parents house, packed and ran to Target to pick up all the last minute items we forgot about. We did relax at night and kind of veg out. We had to be up early the next day to start our drive to Iowa. I didn’t really miss the fireworks or food. It was nice to have the day off and spend the day with Jason.

I had to scrub the car while he held the hose and washed the car off, because he is the supervisor and he is "union". I guess I am not union at our house. I have tried to be supervisor before but it doesn’t work. When he says he is "union" it is because he will work for 5 minutes, go get some pop and relax while I work, repeat, repeat, and when I get after him he says he is on break because he is "union". He thinks he is so funny!
